Hazelnuts

Hazelnuts originate from Asia Minor and their harvest generally takes place between August and November, depending on the year and the variety. They are a source of mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids, protein calcium, fibre, folic acid and zinc.
Turkey is the leading producing country worldwide, followed by Italy, and 90% of the volumes are used by the food industry.
